Feng Jie, GIA GG, is a high jewelry designer and artist regularly featured by museums and top auction houses all over the world. Born and raised in China, she studied jewelry design and craftsmanship in Europe before obtaining her Graduate Gemologist diploma at GIA in Shanghai in 2014. Soon after, she combined her passion for art and gems by launching her own art jewelry line - Feng J. Equal parts art and jewelry, Feng’s designs are known for their “painterly, Impressionist” style.
In 2020, Feng’s ‘Jardin de Giverny’ necklace sold at auction for US$ 2.6 million, and her ‘Fountain of diamond’ ring sold for US$ 1.7 million post-auction. Feng was 34 at the time, making her the youngest jeweler to sell her art at this price point. In 2022, Feng J’s art jewel ‘Feuille de Ginkgo’ was inducted into the permanent collection of the Musée des arts décoratifs in Paris, making her the youngest jeweler to have her creations featured at this prestigious art institution.
